My First Peach Classic
I would just like to thank you for an amazing experience. The Peach Classic was very well prepared and organized. All of the marshals were very encouraging. Please thank all of those who volunteered to make my first Peach Classic such a great experience, you will certainly see me again next year. Thanks again,

Rollover Entries to 2010
To all those who couldn’t get to the race because of the West Kelowna fires–please email me directly–we will rollover your entries to next year–July 18, 2010! I still have a silver IPod that someone needs to identify to claim.

Well-oiled & happy machine!
Thanks for a great event again, Pat. Steve and Jean King were amazing, as usual, and the whole day ran like a well-oiled and happy machine. The Peach is still my favourite triathlon!

Refunds due to fires???
With the fires of the this week are you looking at any refunds to all of us that were cut off from the race by the flames? I understand it is not policy however the number of people from the Vernon area alone should let you know there was a real issue getting to the race. Loved the race last year would love to have done it this year.

Wetsuits Dependent on Day of Race
Sue: decision on wetsuits is dependent on the day of race. An official must take the water temperature in the morning. As of 7PM Saturday, wind blowing from north, and it may bring up cooler water. Bring wetsuit to transition either way. Swim course I believe is clockwise to avoid problems of people walking back to the beach.

Able to wear wetsuits?
When will we find out if we are able to wear wetsuits in the swim…I hear it’s supposed to be hot, so I’m concerned we might not be able to wear wetsuits…

Swim Map
The swim map doesn’t show the direction of the course. Last year, there were too many swimmers between the buoys and the shoreline. If the direction is the same, this year looks to be even worse, but if the direction is reversed, there is more room on the outside, and therefore less crowding at the start.
